Hello Enoggera State School Community and Defence Families,
DEFENCE KIDS HQ CLUB:
Our ever so popular Defence Kids HQ Club is growing by the week. This fortnight, our Defence students have been busy making and working on fun science experiments together. From who can make the tallest marshmallow tower, to slime making and expanding, colour explosions pop, loom band bracelet making, under the sea seascapes, arts and crafts and board games, there really is something for everyone!! It’s very warming to see our senior students start buddying up with the younger students to help guide them through an activity. Team work really does make the dream work!!
PARENTAL ABSENCES:
We love being able to support our students pre, during and post parental absences. This fortnight we have had some very excited children awaiting the arrival of their parents returning home. A friendly reminder that as Absences begin to increase in the ADF, to please update myself on any upcoming Absences. You can also email myself, let admin or your child’s classroom teacher know. This information is really important so that I can ensure I am there pre, during and post preparation in supporting your child during their parent/s absence.
DEFENCE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS:
The last fortnight we had two very special birthdays to celebrate in Defence Kids HQ. We love celebrating birthdays and making our defence students feel special and loved. A very Happy Birthday to our Senior Defence student, Dakoda who turned 9 last week and our junior Defence student, Hamish who turned 6 this week. We hope you both had a great day!!
