Book Week 2023
This year book week will be celebrated from 19th – 25th August (Week 7) culminating with our Book Week Parade on Friday 25th August at 9:15am. There will be many activities and book readings which students from PREP to Year Six will be able to engage in at lunchtimes in the library!
This year’s theme is Read, Grow, Inspire. I hope students are excited at the prospect of dressing up as their favourite character. I have it on very good authority that Mrs Robinson and Mrs Burrows are pairing up this year!
Information regarding the venue for our parade this year will be shared early next week as our Multipurpose Court is still awaiting handover after our recent upgrade.
We look forward to seeing you all at the parade!
National Science Week 12th – 20th August 2023
The school theme for National Science Week in 2023 is Innovation: Powering Future Industries. The theme incorporates the advancement in technology in all industries, especially using artificial intelligence (AI). This week students will have the opportunity to participate in experiments, demonstrations and activities that allow them to explore technologies in different contexts. I look forward to sharing our learning experiences from Science Week in our Week 8 Newsletter.
