Donations Thanks!

Enoggera State School has been lucky enough to receive some generous donations recently for the school string program. 

Thank you to the family of Alison Miller who kindly donated music, folders, music stand and violin accessories to the school. 

Thank you also to the family of ex-student Milley Pomeroy who generously donated two cellos along with various music books and accessories for the use of Enoggera State School students. 

Thank you so much to these families. I'm sure all these donated items will be well used for many years to come.

Music Fest

On Sunday 22^nd of October, string students from Enoggera State School performed at Ferny Grove State High School at the annual Music Fest. Senior String Ensemble performed three pieces and were awarded a Silver award for their performance. Our youngest group the Junior String Ensemble had their first performance at a festival and was awarded a Gold achievement. Well done to all students who attended and represented their school well!

Arts on Stage

“Arts on Stage” will be held at EPAC 6:15pm on Thursday, 9th November.  This event aims to celebrate the wonderful work of our students in the Arts and showcase the extra/co-curricular Performing Arts Programs at ESS. Our school choirs, dance ensembles, recorder band, strings ensembles, wakakirri group and drama performances will be included in our concert.

More specific details about ticketing, participant information and pre-show events will be emailed shortly and posted on our Facebook group so keep an eye out. Also, please remember to get in quick and purchase one of our Performing Arts shirts before the concert.
