Brand New Mini Dance Ensemble & Junior and Senior Dance Ensemble Auditions
Welcome to another amazing school year! I'm so excited to be able to continue to provide amazing Arts opportunities for our students at Enoggera State School.
Our Dance Ensembles are enrichment programs that not only compliments but extends students beyond what they are learning in their Dance Curriculum lessons. Students learn stylised dance technique and routines in preparation for performances at Arts on Stage, School, assemblies and other performances throughout the year.
Our Mini Dance Ensemble is our newest Dance Ensemble in 2024. Our Grade 3 students now have the opportunity to be a part of our Dance Enrichment Programs which will support students in future opportunities including the Musical and Arts on Stage. We're so excited to be offering this opportunity to our Grade 3 students.
Audition & Rehearsal Information
Rehearsals take place weekly in EPAC. Students who are interested in auditioning for the program are invited to come along to the below times in Week 3 (Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th of February).
Senior Dance (Grade 5 & 6) - Thursday before school 8:00 - 8:40am
Junior Dance (Grade 4 & 5) - Thursday First Break after eating
Mini Dance (Grade 3) - Wednesday Second Break after eating
During the audition students will warm up, stretch, learn some technical skills and a small dance sequence. After the audition, an invitation to join form will be sent home which needs to be completed and handed back to Miss Dunstan on the first day of rehearsal.
