Head of Department, Curriculum News
Science Week 10th – 18th August 2024
This week students will have opportunities to engage in lunchtime activities aligned to this year’s theme – Species Survival: More than just sustainability. Students will be learning about important sustainability issues and how we as individuals, and members of the community can take action to protect our local area and wildlife.
Live @ the Library Monday 12th August
On Monday of this week students in Years 2 – 6 attended Live @ the Library. Stig Weymss – actor and audio narrator of Boy Swallows Universe and The Treehouse series entertained our students with humorous anecdotes around the processes involved in narrating stories. They were fortunate to hear live narration of an Andy Griffiths story and some lucky volunteers even took home some audio stories as prizes. I would like to thank the Everton Park Library for their assistance in providing our students with this wonderful opportunity.
