Year 3 have been studying the importance of Camera Angles in English this term. Camera angles are always included in books and movies. Authors use them to show how a character is feeling and what sort of situation they are in.

Different camera angles include:

Low Angle – this shows a character who is strong and domineering.

High angle – this shows a weak and feeble character.

Extreme long shot – shows where the story is set and who is in the story.

Point of View – raises excitement as it shows the story through the characters eyes.

Students have also written and published a story on Book Creator that include camera angles of our choice. It was overall very fun and we all enjoyed making our own multimodal story.
