Tree Seedlings

As part of the Digital Technologies sustainability curriculum, we currently have in our garden, nine Castanospermum austral (black bean) trees in the garden ready for transplanting!

These trees are excellent erosion control and can grow into magnificent rainforest trees. See the picture above. They are not great trees for around the house but are fantastic for erosion control. We are hoping some families or land-care people will take these tiny trees and plant them, especially in the Kedron Brook catchment area before the summer wet season.
