Hello Parents and Caregivers,
PREP Enrolments 2025
Our enrolment process for Prep 2025 is almost completed. If you live in our catchment area and have not put in an application, please contact the school office immediately.
PREP Transition Program (2 Days) - 1 November, 15 November and Roll up afternoon on 4 December
Next week on Friday 1 November, we will be holding our first Transition morning for our new Prep students who are enrolled for next year. This session runs from 9am to 11am. Parents will be provided with an information session whilst your students meet the other Prep students and Teachers and complete activities in the classrooms. We will be holding another session on Friday 15 November, again from 9 to 11 am. The information presented to parents will be different at both sessions.
Please meet outside EPAC on Laurel St at 8:45am and find your child’s name on their class list for the morning. Please sign them in and put on their name tag and take them over to the grassed area where the markers are labelled with the class names and assist them to line up behind the markers. The class teachers and teacher aides will arrive at 9am to collect their classes. At this time parents are asked to move into EPAC for the information session planned.
Please be aware that our uniform shop will also be open on each of these mornings for the purchase of uniforms from 10:30-12:00pm from the uniform shop, located directly under the administration office.
It would be ideal if you and your child could attend both sessions.
We will also hold an afternoon session on Wednesday 4 December at 2pm. This is our roll up afternoon where all students move up to their new classrooms. The Prep students will meet their classmates and their Class teacher for next year.
We realise that people may be away or have other plans, however we strongly recommend that your child attends all 3 sessions to assist with their transition to school.
Please let us know if you will not be attending any session, either via email to: admin@enoggerass.eq.edu.au or by phone to 07 3550 1333.
Outstanding Library Books
Please be aware that notes have been provided to all classes this week to students who have outstanding library books. If you have a student who receives one of these notes and are unable to locate the book/s on this list provided, please advise administration as there will be a fee incurred to replace the missing book/s.
Borrowing from the library will finish at the end of week 7 for all students. Any outstanding books will then be invoiced to parents and caregivers following this. Year 6 students leaving this year, also need to ensure these invoices are paid prior to being exited from Enoggera State School.
Invoices are always sent out to the paying parent via email. The paying parent is allocated at time of enrolment and can only be changed if requested in writing. What this means is that only one paying parent can view invoices online through QParents. If you would like more information around this please email me on bsm@enoggerass.eq.edu.au . If you believe you may have a student credit on your account, please contact me directly to apply this credit as you are unable to allocate credits through QParents online.
We strongly recommend all parents to sign up to Qparents, so they can stay in the loop with the schools’ happenings. If you have any other financial inquiries, please contact me directly.
Have a wonderful fortnight!
