Term 4 has been hectic and certainly full for year four. We have found ourselves knee deep in advertising and learning all the tricks of the trade. Ask your student what tricky language devices are used to engage the audience!

We have just commenced creating our own cereal box this week to “sell” to our peers in a persuasive speech. In maths we have tackled some very tricky concepts in fractions, decimals and money problem solving and are loving getting our “Learning through Doing” happening.

We are challenging our thoughts on current waste practices and how we may be able to improve our management here at school in HASS and we will culminate with creating a catchy advertisement to persuade our peers to be more sustainable with their lunchbox waste.
