Classroom Learning
Last week students arrived at school eager to join their classmates and begin their learning and learning routines for 2025. In week one and two our students have been undertaking diagnostic and pre – assessment in writing, spelling, reading comprehension and maths. This assists teachers with identifying students’ current levels of knowledge and understanding and helps the teachers plan the required teaching and learning episodes for the term.
Class Newsletters and Term Overviews
This Friday class teachers will be disseminating Term One curriculum learning area overviews and class newsletters. The term one curriculum overview provides information regarding the learning your child/children will be undertaking in all learning areas for the term. The class newsletter provides you with information pertaining to weekly timetables and resources needed on particular days. (eg. Library is on Monday. Homework to be returned on Wednesday). We encourage you to use this information to initiate discussions with your child about their learning during the term.
