Class Swimming

A big thank-you to all of our parents/grandparents and caregivers in the lower years who have been continually been attending and supporting their students during swimming lessons. I really appreciate your support in the classes as it allows more quality time with assisting the students.

The weather has been challenging over the last few weeks.  Hopefully we can have the last week of swimming under blue sky. When the weather is a little cooler, I will try to keep the students moving, however time outside of the pool may be needed.

This is our last week of swimming until Term 4. 

Inter-House Cross Country

Our inter-house cross country was postponed due to the oval being far too wet for the students to safely run the course. Our aim will be to hold the event in the first week back at school on Wednesday the 23rd of April. This will be a short week, with public holidays on either side. We would love all students to attend this event.

Due to the timing, it only gives us a very small window to get into the City District trials which are on Friday 2^nd May.

Students are encouraged to keep training over the holidays so they are “race fit” for the cross country.

3 on 3 Basketball

The final of the 3 on 3 basketball will be held this week.

Sorry, at the time of submitting the newsletter item we don’t have a winner just yet.

I want to wish you all a happy and safe holiday. Take the time to recharge for what will undoubtedly another busy sporting term in Term 2.

Term 2 will see our focus move into athletics – running, jumping and throwing.
