Our young artists were given the challenge of designing a sculpture from found objects that also portrayed an environmental message of being mindful of our environment. Many students were keen to share their message of water pollution and the worry of excess plastic in our waterways, while some were concerned about trees being destroyed. As we know this puts the homes of many animals like koalas and birds at risk. Whilst having fun we hope that we can continue to be a thoughtful generation always thinking of our impact on our planet. In English this term students have been creating a narrative with the concept of ‘overcoming a fear’. There have been some very imaginative fears that have been explored and students are very keen to add their drawing to their narrative.
