Semester One Teaching, Learning and Reporting
Students are well and truly entering the culminating phase of Term Two learning in which they are demonstrating and applying their knowledge and understanding of learnt concepts through completing class learning and assessing activities. During this time it is extremely important that students are coming to school every day and on time! Terms One and Two student data will be analysed and reviewed by teachers to provide parents with detailed, on balance judgements outlining how students are progressing with year level curriculum expectations.
The Semester One 2025 Reporting Scales for Achievement, Effort and Behaviour are as follows.
Prep – Year 2:
Year 3 – Year 6:
After consultation with staff, The Enoggera School Council and P and C the decision has been made to refine our reporting processes. Semester One Reporting will include Semester One Learning Statements in the curriculum areas of Science, HASS, The Arts, Technologies and Languages. Semester One Learning Statements and personalised comments aligned to version nine Australian Curriculum will be provided for all students in English and Maths.
Report Cards will be distributed on Thursday 26th June (Week 10) from 2pm. Please note that emails are sent by: Application.ONESCHOOL@qed.qld.gov.au
Just a reminder that adding this address to your list of safe senders will ensure that your report card emails for your child/children will be received and not sent to your junk folder. If your email details have recently changed please ensure that this information is provided to Administration by Monday 16th June (Week 9) to ensure this information can be updated in our system.
2025 Premiers Reading Challenge Continues
Please note the reading window is from 6th May – 22nd August 2025.
To successfully complete the PRC students in:
- Prep – Year 2 must read or experience 20 books
- Years 3 – 4 must read 20 books
- Years 5 – 6 must read 15 books.

Readers Cup Competition
Next Tuesday 17th June our two readers cup teams consisting of year five and six students will be representing Enoggera State School at the Metropolitan North Competition. Rose, Zoe, Ella, Charlotte, Vishnu, Elliot, Rachel, Kate, Brea and Lara have been reading and studying Leo and Ralph (Peter Carnavas), The Kindness Project (Deborah Abela), Ember and the Island of Lost Creatures (Jason Pamment), Spy Academy – The Peak (Jack Heath) and Losing the Plot (Annaleise Byrd) in preparation to being quizzed on their memory and comprehension of each book.
We wish them well and know they will represent Enoggera wonderfully – Go TEAM!!!
