Firstly, a big thank you to teachers and families following up with hats for their students in PE lessons, there has been a marked difference of hats on heads. Well done!

Track and Field Carnivals

Our School Track and Field Carnivals are scheduled for Week 9 of Term 2.  The Prep to year 2 will have their events (running and tabloid games) on the school oval on Friday 20^th June from 9am to 12noon.

The senior carnival (800m, 100m, 200m, shot put, long jump) will be held on Wednesday 18^th June at the Mt Maria Playing Fields at the end of Mott and Lade Streets, Enoggera. High jump will be completed shortly. It is just very difficult to transport all the equipment to the fields and it doesn’t easily fit within our timetable on the day.

Junior Carnival – this is for Prep to year 2 students. Please note all times are subject change.

• 9.00am: Sprints to commence for Year 2, then Year 1, then Prep when they arrive.
• 10.30am: Tabloid Rotations
• 12noon: Conclusion of event

Senior Carnival – this is for students in year 3 – 6 and will be for the whole day. Students will walk to and from the venue – Q parent permissions have gone out and are due back to school on Monday 16^th June. Remember, if no permission received, students will remain at school.

Please note, all sprint race heats will be timed and winners will be selected once all the heats are completed. Winners of a heat are not necessarily the winner for the event. This is due to time constraints on the day.
