From Monday 30 June, Brisbane’s bus network is changing. This includes the introduction of Brisbane Metro M1 services (Eight Mile Plains to Roma Street). 

What's changing?  

The new bus network means you may need to:  

• transfer as part of your journey
• change where you get on and off 
• travel on a new route
• use a different bus service
• check the bus timetable for changes.  

Getting ready for these changes

To help prepare for these changes, we encourage you to follow the below steps to plan your new journey.

Step 2 – Search for your bus route number to understand what's changing 

Step 3 – Plan your new journey using journey planner by entering a start and end location and select a date from Monday 30 June. (Please note – the network changes start during school holidays. This means that for district (school) services and trips that only operate on school days you’ll need to select a travel date from 14 July.)

For your awareness, ahead of these changes and following the launch of the new bus network, Council and Translink representatives will also be on-ground at key bus stops and bus stations to help answer questions and support customers navigate these changes. Signage at bus stops and busway stations will also be in place to direct customers to Translink’s Journey Planner.
