This term, our young writers have been busy creating information reports on their favourite animals or insects. They especially enjoyed describing their chosen creatures' appearance, using extended noun groups to show-off their knowledge of growing vocabulary and writing skills.

In Mathematics, students have been developing their confidence with mental strategies, learning to read time to the quarter hour (past and to), partitioning two- and three-digit numbers and tackling two-step problem-solving tasks. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and persistence as they strengthen their number sense and mathematical thinking.
