Welcome back to another busy term in sport.
Last week to help with our NAIDOC events, in PE we focused on a range of traditional indigenous games. We learnt about and played Kai, Gorri, Wulijini and Buroinjin.
Congratulations to 3B who won our Kai challenge. As a class they were able to keep the ball up in the air for a very impressive 8 times. Well done 3B!!!

City District Track and Field Carnivals
Our first event for the term is the City District Track and Field Trials to be held on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th July. Winners of events at our Athletics carnival in term 2 have been invited to attend over the two competition days providing they were able to reach benchmarked times and heights.
We wish all the competitions the best of luck for their events. We are all behind you!

Volleyball Cup
During Term 3 we will also attend the Annual Primary Schools Cup with teams of students from year 5 & 6 to participate in this event at Craigslea State High School. Parents have been asked to express an interest in this event to help in controlling the number of teams and players we need to nominate.
This event will be held on Thursday 21st August.
We will start some lunchtime practices from this week.
