Please remind students that as of Monday the volleyball nets will be available for practices during both breaks.

Gala Days for the Year 5 & 6 students have been planned for City District Schools for the first three Fridays in Term 4. Notes have already gone home, so please reach out if you have any questions or require a hard copy. Students will either be playing Cricket or Touch Football.
Tennis
Our annual ESS Tennis Tournament will get started this week. We will start with some of the younger students in a knockout style competition. Look out for some pictures in the week 10 newsletter.
Swimming – Term 4
We’re excited to return to the pool for PE lessons in Term 4! To ensure a smooth start, please complete and return the swimming permission form to the office by Friday, 19th September.
In the coming week, keep an eye out for additional information outlining swimming lesson dates, times, and opportunities to assist—especially for parents of students in Prep to Year 2.
With the holidays just around the corner, now is a great time to check that your child has everything they need for swimming and is ready to go. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name, including school uniforms.
Swimming Gear Checklist:
-
Swimming Bag – Large enough to hold all swim gear and uniforms.
-
Swimmers – Please avoid cross-over straps for younger students as they can be tricky to manage when changing.
-
Towel
-
Swimming Cap – Compulsory
-
Sunsafe Shirt – Either a rash vest or T-shirt.
-
Goggles – Recommended.
-
Plastic Bag – For carrying wet swimwear after lessons.
Important:
Parent consent is required for your child to participate in our swimming program. Please complete the form linked below and return it to the office by the end of the term:
