Inspirational People in STEM  

As per my last newsletter article I am still looking for local Enoggera people currently  working in STEM industries (construction, design, engineering, science/s, technologies, computer programming, mathematics) to help with inspirational profiles. Please email me if you know someone or have a person to nominate. During Coding Club, the students will create inspirational profiles with new computer software.

Python Coding

There has been a recent uptake in students learning python (text) coding. I am encouraging python during Coding Club on Wednesdays, second break. Parent/ guardian/s should go to Tynker.com and sign up, using a home email address. There are many great lessons and challenges on Tynker, suitable for Primary school age students. Students are free to login to their Tynker accounts at school and continue their python projects.

Robotic Arm

We have just completed a working clock and robotic arm in Robot Club. There are plenty of kits and building instructions available Tuesday and Thursdays, second break.
