Class News
Welcome back Enoggera to Week 6 of Term 2! What a fantastic return we’ve had back to our “semi” normal routine. I think I speak for all of the teachers and students when I say it’s great to have our classes back to the way they were. Thank you for all of your wonderful support and positive feedback that we have received since the initial changes were announced. It has been a steep learning curve for all and we appreciate all that you have done at home in accessing the Edstudio. Thank you for keeping the learning process going!
To finalise our Lorax unit, we are allowing students the opportunity to present an oral retell as the character that they chose for their assessment during Week 5. Beginning from Week 7, Year 3 will be recommencing their persuasive writing unit for English until the end of term. The students will be learning how to improve their persuasive language skills to better convince others of their point of view. The topic that we’ll be thinking about is “should junk food be served at the tuckshop?”
Due to the disruptions this term, Semester 1 report cards will be issued in Week 3 of Term 3. You will notice that only certain key learning areas are able to be reported on for this semester. Again, thank you all for your ongoing cooperation and we look forward to finishing this semester off without anymore disruptions.
