Inter-school, District and other Sporting Events.
Many of you will be aware that soon after our previous newsletter, the announcement was made by the Education Department that Inter-school, District and other Sporting Events will resume in Term 3.
We are excited by this prospect, however, as the past few months have taught us – what this looks like is part of an evolving process.
At this time, a small handful of district, regional and state sport events are in a phase of ‘reboot’. Communications will typically come from teams directly and where trials are yet to be run. Notices will be sent from school as we receive the information.
Many restrictions are, however, keeping the planning of specific events from being finalised. This includes things like the potential for District Athletics and other large events. If they become possible we will share the information regarding these with families as we receive the appropriate information.
I want to thank you for your understanding and patience. This is an ever changing environment and we will share all appropriate information when we get access to it.
