Worry Warts Drama Performance Incursion
What: View the live drama performance, Worry Warts by Theatre Theatre Productions. The show is based on the very popular children’s book, Worry Warts by the renowned author, Morris Gleitzman.
Who: Year 2-6 students
When: Thursday 18th March from 11.45-1pm (middle session)

Links to learning: Drama – view and respond to how the elements (production and dramatic) are used to communicate ideas. Students can use this experience to inform their own drama making. Drama is learning in The Arts Australian Curriculum Prep-Year 6.
About Worry Warts – The Story
‘Worry Warts is the sequel to Misery Guts. Keith Shipley’s parents now own a fish and chips shop in Orchid Cove in Queensland and are still worried about money. Keith is still frantically trying to cheer them up and his new friend Tracey thinks that she can solve all the financial woes. Keith as he tackles his problems head on, finds that sometimes happiness can be found where you least expect it.’ Theatre Theatre Productions.

About Theatre Theatre productions
Theatre Theatre Productions, based on the North Coast of NSW, have performed for ESS in the past. Their education team involve students on stage from as young as 9 years old and they are truly remarkable young performers.
We can’t wait to have our students view the performance and see live drama in action. Activity consent forms (sent to the class teacher) and payment are due on Monday 15th March.
