Wakakirri
Families have been emailed with important information regarding a venue change for the Live Performance. All Brisbane competing schools will be performing on Wednesday 25th August 2021 at the Logan Metro Sports Centre (approximately 10 minutes from the Logan Entertainment Centre).
Other important changes in response to the Covid-19 situation:
- The Awards Night for Brisbane has been cancelled – The “Live” show will be the only off- site event.
- Wakakirri Live on the 25th August will showcase all Brisbane schools and therefore be a longer show. Show start and finish times are to be confirmed.
- Show day - students will need to be at school at 8am. Buses will depart at 15am.
We will also require parent hair and makeup help at the venue between 1- 4pm.
Date Claimer: Sunday 22nd August 1-4pm (EPAC) - full dress rehearsal.
Parents and helpers are welcome to assist with costumes (ironing, bagging up, last minute stitching) and set touch ups.

Please see Ms Hopper’s news regarding the upcoming 150th Anniversary Fun Day performances (parents have been emailed the information). We would love as many students as possible to participate in this fun celebration.
Participation slips should be returned to the class teacher.
