Principal's Pen

Research has shown that students who are involved in The Arts have higher levels of school motivation, engagement in class, self-esteem, and life satisfaction as well as more positive academic and personal wellbeing outcomes. Thanks to our dedicated staff, our students are lucky to be able to participate in many extra curricula programs, as showcased at The Arts on Stage on Friday night. From Instrumental Music to drama, singing, recorder playing and drumming, there was something for everyone!

Our Book Fair was also a great success, with nearly $1500 raised to purchase new books for our library. Thank you to those who supported the Fair.

Our staff versus student’s netball match today was a tight competition however the staff were victorious in the end. Excellent sportsmanship was shown all round and a great game had by all.

With our predicted student numbers, we will have temporary classrooms placed ready to start the 2020 school year. These rooms are a pre-cursor to investigation of the longer-term building solutions that will be required to ensure that we have enough classrooms to cater for student growth. To assist us, to ensure we have accurate numbers for next year, if you know of students coming to, or leaving Enoggera can you please ensure this information is communicated to office staff.
Thank you to the following companies who were involved in creating our new garden and especially to the Mirvac volunteers who worked extremely hard in the hot weather.
