P&C News

EVENTS

This Friday the P&C are hosting an event to celebrate the end of year which will include student and staff performing carols, followed by Small Foot the movie. Mark your calendars for Friday 29th November.

From 4 pm, food trucks - Pizza Gal and Red Oriental will be onsite and ready to provide dinner for families. There will also be a food van from the movie provider with hotdogs and popcorn available for light refreshments.

MULTI-PURPOURSE ROOF UPDATE

Calling those who work for companies that have Community Sponsorship or Grant Programs!!

A lot of larger organisations have community sponsorships or grants available to certain community or non-profit projects. We have recently been successful in receiving a grant through Telstra that a parent applied for on behalf of the school. If you are able to identify that this might available through your organisation, we would love to assist you in applying for a sponsorship or grant to assist with this project.

A SSS Application was submitted to EQ in November to contribute to the funding for the project. Thank you to the team of parents involved in getting this application ready, as well as Mrs Butler and the administration staff for their ongoing assistance and commitment to this project.

The P&C has already committed $71,200 to the project with an overall fundraising goal of $120,000 ahead of an expected construction start date of end 2020. You can help us get to our goal more quickly by making a tax deductible donation to our Building Fund via www.giveit.com.au  or by letting us know of any companies or businesses which may be interested in sponsoring our project.

RECYCLING -CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE

Our containers collection is still going strong! Thank you to those families who are regularly bringing their containers from home, every little bit helps.

Thank you to the staff and student volunteer helpers who keep this program running smoothly - especially those students who put their gloves on each week to ensure the bins are free of straws, bottle tops and other debris! Wonderful work!

Should you wish to still visit the depot you can use our ID number to donate to the P&C.
