Our Scholastic Book Fair finally starts this Friday. This year’s event will run from Friday 12
th November to Wednesday 17
th November. The theme is
“READING OASIS – A Cool Place to Discover Hot Books.” The Fair will be open before school from 8.15-8.45 and afternoons from 3.00-3.30 and we will be running some competitions during the fair. Something special that we have added to our BOOK FAIR calendar is our inaugural
“BOOK FAIR PYJAMA EVENING.” From 5.00pm – 6.30pm on Tuesday 16
th November, join us wearing your favourite comfy pyjamas. The adults can peruse the BOOK FAIR in the resource centre while the kids can visit Prep B for book readings with some of our staff.
It’s a great way to get some early Christmas shopping done and what better gift than the gift of reading.
OVERDUE BOOKS
As the end of the year is fast approaching, it would be much appreciated if you would help your child locate any overdue library books or home readers and return them to the library or classroom teacher ASAP. If you are unable to locate any books or you know that they may have been lost, could you please contact the school to organise payment for the replacement of the books.
