Assessment and Reporting
Over the coming weeks students will be very busy demonstrating their knowledge, understanding and skills of concepts taught this semester through the completion of formal assessment tasks in key learning areas. It is very important that routines at this very busy and tiring time of the year are maintained. This includes ensuring students are getting enough sleep, eating a nutritious breakfast and making sure that they are coming to school on time every day.
Semester 2 2021 Report Cards will be emailed to parents and caregivers on the afternoon of Wednesday 8th December. For this information to be correctly delivered it is essential that the school has an up to date email address. If these details have changed please contact the school so that our records can be updated.
The email will be sent via Application.ONESCHOOL@qed.qld.gov.au
I ask that you add this address to your list of safe senders so that the email does not send to the junk folder.
Booklists
Bedrock Books have been engaged to stock our bookpacks for years 1 – 6 in 2022. You will be receiving booklist stationary pack information next week via email. Orders need to be placed prior to the 7th December to avoid a $6.50 packing fee. All orders placed before 5th January are guaranteed delivery before the start of the school year.
Upcoming Excursions
Information pertaining to the Prep Nudgee Beach Excursion (28th November) and Year 4 STEM Day at Everton Park State High School (Friday 3rd December) will be coming home this week. These wonderful activities provide students with the opportunity to learn new skills in new settings and ways.
Should you have any queries or concerns around any excursions please contact your child’s class teacher.
