Swimming Carnivals
The 2021 swimming carnivals will be held in week 9.

  • Wednesday 1st December – year 3-6 – all day
  • Thursday 2nd December - Prep to Year 2 – first two sessions

This year parents will be able to attend our carnivals, they will however, need to socially distance and sign in via the QR Checkin Code. 

For the senior carnival the parents/spectators will be sitting on the grassed area on the school building side of the pool.  For the junior carnival the parents/spectators will be sitting in the grandstand on the road side of the pool.

On these days, students participating in the events are able to wear their swimmers to school under their uniform (or their sports shirts). They must wear their normal Enoggera uniform or sports shirt to and from school.  Once at the pool if they wish to add extra splashes of house colours eg tutus, wigs etc they are able to do so. No coloured hairsprays are to be worn to school or brought to school for this event.  Please also avoid crepe paper or paper style cheers squad items as these do not work well with a water environment.

It is really important that all students bring the following:

  • Swimmers,
  • Sunshirt/Rashie/Shirts with sleeves
  • Swimming cap
  • Towel
  • Hat
  • Water Bottle

All students are expected to participate in at least one freestyle event unless medically unable.  If your student is unable to participate – please send a note outlining details.

Week 10 – Free Swim
We are currently working on a timetable for all classes to participate in on free swim session during the last week of school.  A timetable with the day of your students swim will be sent home when all the details are finalised. 

Class Free Swim Days will be:

  • Monday – with Mrs Jardine (this is a change to normal days).
  • Wednesday – with Mrs Jardine
  • Thursday – with Mrs Prill

Swimming – 2022
Swimming permission forms for 2022 have been sent home to all Prep to year 5 students.  Please help us get the program organised for next year by returning the attached permission form by the end of this week (26th November).
