Arts on Stage
Thank you to everyone who supported Arts on Stage and the students involved on the night! It was a fantastic night with our students showcasing their talent.  It truly was a lovely night and great to see families catching up again at the sausage sizzle prior to the night.  Thank you to our wonderful and dedicated teachers who spend all their time with students, especially Mrs Wilcox, Ms Hopper and Ms Moore!

P & C Executive
We would like to welcome Bec O’Donnell as the P & C Secretary.  You might remember Bec was the P & C Treasurer for a few years up until this year and she is also the Swim Club Treasurer. She loves our school community so much, her knowledge has already been appreciated! Bec will be Secretary for a few months until the P & C AGM on 22 March 2022.

Uniform Shop
We have to wonderful volunteers to take on the Uniform Shop Co-ordinators role in 2022.  We welcome Joanne Green and Vivian Matsuda who are already doing an amazing job this term assisting Amanda and transitioning into the role.  The Uniform Shop open times in 2022 will be on Friday mornings at 8.00 – 9.00 am, commencing from Friday, 28 January 2022.

Below are the dates and times the Uniform Shop will be open in the last week of the school holidays in January:

Monday, 17 January – 4.00 – 6.00 pm

Tuesday, 18 January – 9.00 – 11.00 am

Thursday, 20 January - 4.00 – 6.00 pm

Friday, 21 January – 9.00 – 11.00 am & 4.00 – 6.00 pm

Monday, 24 January – 8.00 – 9.00 am (first day of school 2022)

End of Year - Pizza Lunch
The school, with the assistance of the P & C will be providing a pizza lunch as part of the end of year celebration on Thursday, 9 December.  For $5 dollars each student will receive 3 pieces of pizza.  You will need to order your pizza lunch for the student/s on QKR! App prior to the day. Further details will be sent out soon!

The Mango Fundraiser
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!...The mangoes are here on Friday, 26 November!  If you ordered a tray(s) of mangoes you should have received an email advising of details to collect them from 2.00 – 5.30 pm from the back of EPAC on Laurel Street.  If you are unable to collect on Friday afternoon there is a small opportunity on Saturday morning from 9.00 – 10.00 am.

Colour Fun Run 2022
A Colour Fun Run is planned for 1 April 2022, a great way to end term 1, 2022. The P & C are looking for a volunteer to coordinate this event.  If you are interested or have any questions please contact Lynelle via opsmanager@esspandc.com.au.

Tuckshop
With the end of year approaching fast the tuckshop is starting to run stock levels down so you may see some items will be unavailable.  We are working the menu for 2022 and looking at bringing back the Wednesday Specials, if you have any ideas or special requests, especially for home bakes, please contact Rosetta, our Tuckshop Convenor, or Lynelle.

If you are available in 2022 to be a tuckshop volunteer or to provide home baking please contact the P & C via opsmanager@esspandc.com.au

Containers for Change
Continue that sprint to the end of 2021 and fill up the Containers for Change bins (purple bins)!! With the silly season fast approaching each household number of containers will increase, please collect them and drop them in the bins at school or visit the depot.  To check if your containers are eligible, check the back of the container for the 10c symbol (lids must also be removed).  You can visit the depot deposit your containers and contribute to the ESS scheme, our school scheme ID is C10051863

Commemorative Pins
Commemorative Pins are still available on QKR! App.  The pins are a great memory of the school’s 150^th Anniversary.  You will have a choice of a stick pin or a clasp backing.  They are $10 and can be picked up from the Uniform Shop on a Tuesday morning or provided to your child if you are unable to pick them up.
