Enoggera State School's Senior String Ensemble were the first school to perform at Fanfare this year. Fanfare is a biennial festival of state school ensembles, but due to COVID restrictions, this is the first time it has been held since 2018.
The String Ensemble played three pieces that they had previously performed at our school assembly. They played extremely well and were awarded a Gold rating for their performance. And excursion, a Gold certificate and lots of feedback from the adjudicator made it worth all the hard work they had put in to this performance. Congratulations Senior String Ensemble!
The Junior String Ensemble is made up of our beginner Grade 3 students. They have started rehearsing together as a group on Monday lunchtimes and are working very hard at learning how to use the bow. They will have their first public performance at the Week 8 assembly on Monday 6th June. Parents of Junior String Ensemble students are invited to attend.
