Metropolitan North Track and Field.

All the best to Avery, Chelsea and Ari who will be competing at the Metropolitan North Track and Field Carnival at UQ Sports Athletics Sports Centre at St Lucia on the 24^th or 25^th August.

Volleyball Cup

The Annual Primary Schools Cup is being held at Craigslea State High School on Thursday 1^st September.  Students in year 5 & 6 have nominated to participate in the carnival.  Practice will be happening over the next few weeks during break time at school.

There are a handful of students who have not yet returned permission forms – please return those as quickly as possible.

Interschool Sport

Gala Days are being planned for City District Schools for three Fridays in early term 4. Preparation with Year 5 & 6 students and staff are underway to get teams organised for these days.  Students will either participate in Touch Football or T20 (Cricket). 

Permission forms and invoices have been sent home this week.  Please return these to your students class teachers as soon as possible to help with continued planning.   

Plans are also underway for the year 3 & 4 classes to participate in skill development programs at school on the same three Fridays that the senior students are participating in Gala sports. Further information will be sent home as these plans evolve.
