Semester 2 Reporting

Curriculum Reporting Update

Staff have been very busy reviewing and refining our reporting processes this semester.  In consultation with staff the Semester 2 2022 Report Card will provide a semester learning statement in all reportable curriculum areas contextualising the knowledge and skills students have learnt.  Each learning area will have comments informing of your child’s demonstrated capacity of learning for each area or strand of learning area.

Behaviour and Effort Reporting Information

Effort in each learning area is assessed on a five – point scale using a rubric.  In this way there is consistency of ratings given through the various descriptors.

Behaviour is rated also using a five – point scale rubric that outlines various observable behaviours by students across the semester in areas including the School Pillars, social skills, leadership, respect, inclusivity and conflict resolution to name a few.  The rubric was developed in consultation with staff through the Student Behaviour Committee to guide all teachers to assess behaviour consistently across subject areas and year levels.
