Staff Moderation
This week staff from Enoggera State School and Stafford State School engaged in moderation for Term 1 English writing tasks. The purpose of cluster moderation is to build teacher expertise through professional conversations to calibrate and confirm teacher judgements of students’ knowledge and understanding against year level curriculum elements. The process ensures that reporting processes are transparent and consistent.
We were excited to have our Assistant Regional Director, Mr Rob Van den Heuvel attend to work with both schools around MOderation this time also. He was very impressed with the level of engagement and the conversations being had by colleagues over the student work samples.

Parent Teacher Interviews
A big thank you to those who have booked Semester One Parent Teacher Interviews. These are being conducted in EPAC on Tuesday 21st March (Week 9) from 3:15pm – 7:45pm. If you are still wishing to book an interview these can be booked using the SOBS system https://eq.sobs.com.au/pt3/parent.php?schoolid=70109.
Students are also welcome to attend as we continue to move towards the 3-way conferencing model for these interviews, where students are at the table and involved in the conversations around their learning, so that they may take more responsibility for their learning moving forwards.
Book Club
Edition 2 of book club remains open and any orders will need to be completed by March 20. This is to ensure students will receive their orders before the Easter school holidays.
